We want to help people to
- improve their skills for life, learning and work,
- gain qualifications,
- build their confidence and their motivation,
- increase their chances of finding a job,
- play their part in society.
We believe in
Enhancing life chances for local people facing hardship by giving them free access to education, training, mentoring and youth counselling.
Improving literacy, numeracy, IT and practical life skills, such as cooking and First Aid, through alternative learning and training programmes.
Improving Work Skills
Increasing peoples’ prospects for employment, working in partnership with local employers to develop work place skills and confidence enabling them to gain valuable experience.
A Safer Society
Working with people who have had a tough start in life, including those coming out of prison, to develop their life skills and enable them to make a positive contribution to society either through education, volunteering or employment.
Empowering people of all backgrounds to tackle social disadvantage in their local communities by helping each other and increasing awareness of and access to the support available.
