Come and Relax trips

Let the world float by gently for a couple of relaxing hours

Trefoil Guildford

A member of the Trefoil Guild enjoys a trip along the River Wey.

Do you ever see people out on their boats and wish you could spend a few hours in the same relaxing way on the river?

Surrey Care Trust offers accessible boat trips on our Swingbridge1 boat on the River Wey – at very affordable prices.

The two-hour trips depart from the National Trust’s Dapdune Wharf in Guildford on the River Wey at 10.30am and 1.30pm every day through the spring, summer and early autumn.

All trips are skippered and crewed by trained volunteers. Groups are welcome to bring packed lunches and we provide hot and cold drinks. Our trips are for small groups of people from all kinds of community organisations.

Swingbridge1, a 40ft broadbeam boat with an all-weather canopy, is equipped with a wheelchair lift so it is fully accessible for people with limited mobility.favicon

We can cater for up to 12 people without wheelchairs. We can take up to three wheelchairs on a trip with six additional passengers. Please note these are maximum numbers and we cannot exceed them.
