Local businesses get their ducks in a row for Surrey Care Trust

Surrey companies went quackers for charity on Friday 6 July when they took part in Surrey Care Trust’s annual BIG Yellow Duck Race along the River Wey in Guildford.

John Chaplin, a trustee of the charity, took the top prize for the best dressed duck while Guildford Labour scooped the coveted BIG Yellow Duck Trophy and a bottle of champagne.

Other competitors included: Runnymede Homes; Projectfive; Bounce; Barlow Robbins; QCG; Brewers; Hart Brown; Restore Records Management; Broanmain Plastics; Tuffin Ferraby Taylor LLP; JS2; the High Sheriff of Surrey; Consult Hyperion and Careswell Property Services.

All funds raised from the BIG Yellow Duck Race 2018 will go directly to support the Surrey Care Trust’s different programmes throughout the county. A local independent charity, we support people of all ages, helping to transform the lives of individuals who are marginalised by disadvantage or lack of opportunity, or in need of a second chance.
