The Beat Goes On for Surrey Care Trust on Saturday 16 September when this popular local band play a benefit gig at Compton Village Hall.
Jon Fairclough, the band’s bassist, has organised the event to give his London to Edinburgh charity bike ride fundraiser a boost.
The Beat Goes On plays music that is fun, energetic and danceable with a repertoire which contains a wide range of pop, rock and soul from the 60’s to 2017. Find out more about the band here.
Tickets cost £12 per person and are available online at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jon-fairclough7. The gig starts at 8.30pm.
Drinks will be on sale. Food is not provided, but you may bring your own.
Jon’s charity bike ride takes place in July will see him cycle from London to Edinburgh and back in just 5 days. That’s 900 miles. in total and 180 miles a day. Over the 5 days Jon will climb 33000 feet. That’s one third of the way to outer space!
