Thursday June 3rd :Bring-a-Dish lunch
Every guest brings a dish to share for a wonderful lunchtime feast at Worplesdon Memorial Hall near Guildford. This village hall is also home to the Sidney Sime gallery, dedicated to the artist, caricaturist and illustrator Sidney Sime who lived in Worplesdon. This event is being organised by volunteers and Surrey Care Trust staff in a voluntary capacity.
Tickets are £10, including wine, coffee and entrance to the gallery, plus your dish to share.

Thursday June 24th :The Surrey Care Duck Race 2010
Our regular sporting fixture on the River Wey in the centre of Guildford. We invite local companies to make a generous donation to sponsor our 2ft high yellow plastic ducks. Visit our dedicated ducks website, www.bigyellowducks.org.uk.

Saturday September 25th : The Surrey 3 Peaks... our STEPS Across Challenge 2010
Another challenging marathon of a sponsored walk through the glorious Surrey Hills, raising money for our life-changing work with young people, including our STEPS Learning Centres at Redhill, Staines and Woking.
STEPS Across Surrey, now in its 7th year, becomes the Surrey 3 Peaks for 2010, starting and ending in Shere village between Dorking and Guildford. The 26-mile ciircular route along the Greensand Way and North Downs Way passes over Holmbury Hill, Leith Hill (the highest point in South East England) and Box Hill – three of Surrey's most demanding hills!
The countryside of the Surrey Hills is less than 30 miles from Piccadilly Circus but takes you right off the beaten track with breathtaking scenery and wonderful views.
There is no entry fee but we ask all our walkers to help us raise around £125 in sponsorship.
Registration is from 7.30 a.m. Walkers leave by 8a.m. We provide drinks and snacks along the way, a packed lunch and refreshments at the finish.
There is also an option of walking part of the route for a shorter challenge.

This is a major fundraisier for us and in 2009 we were delighted to raise more than £10,000.

Thursday September 30th: Dinner at the House of Commons
sponsored by Pope Anderson
This glamorous event in the Members' Dining Room with a drinks reception in the Strangers Room will be hosted by Jeremy Hunt, the MP for South West Surrey and Shadow Minister for Culture, Media and Sport. The evening includes a three-course meal with wine, in the most opulent of settings. A perfect backdrop for corporate entertaining or a special night out. Tickets are £125.

November 11th : Golf Day 2010 at Hindhead Golf Club
Another competitive morning out on one of Surrey's finest courses followed by lunch.
Entry for a team of four is £400, includes 18 holes, coffee & bacon roll on arrival and lunch.
