A major area of our work is with under-achieving young people who have struggled to fit into mainstream school and are at risk of finishing their years of education with few skills to take them through life.

These young people have often had a difficult start in life but we believe that they all have the potential to achieve if they can be motivated to develop their abilities and their ambitions.

Our aim is to keep them in education, either in their current schools, or in one of our specialist learning centres.

We also have a STEPS Ahead programme for unemployed 16 to 18 year-olds, to help them improve their skills and confidence, so they can find work or move into further education.
