First to complete the walk was William Burge, who ran the route in just over six hours, soon after 2 p.m. Next home was David Kingham at around 4.30 p.m, who walked in eight and a half hours. The final walkers to complete, arrived back in Shere at 8.30p.m.
Congratulations to all the walkers and many, many thanks for all your fundraising. Our thanks also go to Leslie Tisdall, the route planning supremo, and to our stewards, including members of the Rotary Club of Dorking Deepdene. We are expecting to raise more than £10,000 for our STEPS programmes for young people.
