Neil McClelland OBE

Neil was Director of Education for Greenwich 1989-1993.
He founded and was CEO of National Literacy Trust until the end of 2006. He was invited by the government to run the National Year of Reading in 1998.
He has been involved with several international educational charities and has experience as educational consultant at national and international level, as well as serving for many years as school governor at both primary and secondary level.
He is Chair of Mole Valley Independent Remuneration panel. Neil has an OBE for services to education.
