From April to October, we run boat trips for small groups of people, young and old, from all kinds of Surrey community organisations, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a couple of relaxing hours on the water.
The trips are for up to nine people (fewer if there are wheelchairs) on our Swingbridge1, a 40ft broadbeam boat with an all-weather canopy. A wheelchair lift makes the boat accessible to people with limited mobility.
The charges for 2012 are £50 for April and October, £60 for May, £70 for June, July, August and September.
The two-hour trips depart from the National Trust’s Dapdune Wharf in Guildford on the River Wey at 10.30am and 1.30pm.
All trips are skippered and crewed by trained volunteers.
Groups are welcome to bring packed lunches and we provide hot and cold drinks.
There is a toilet but please note it is not accessible in a wheelchair. However, there are excellent disabled access toilet facilities at Dapdune Wharf.
