Our STEPS School Inclusion team works with young people who are in the middle years of secondary education but are unhappy or failing to progress.
We run 8-week motivational courses for small groups of students, during which they take part in a range of activities, from creative workshops to a challenging day of team-building and outdoor pursuits.
We also provide one-to-one support in schools, encouraging young people to feel positive about learning and their own abilities.
If they are helped to keep trying in school, they can start to achieve, are less likely to attendance and exclusion and have better opportunities when they reach the age of 16.
